The Place de la République district, called the most “magical” in Paris, is the most enjoyable district for strolling.  It calls you to discover its Contemporary Art galleries – the most significant in Paris - as well as its museums. The Picasso Museum offers a chronological journey through the artist’s paintings, sculptures, photographs, drawings and ceramics. In the heart of the Marais district, the Carnavalet Museum offers more than 140 rooms dedicated to the history of Paris, from its origins to modern times.
